Welcome
The sun has finally risen in the wizarding world. It's the dawn of a new age. Shouts of praise and thanks goes out the heroes that fought in the 'Final Battle', coming out with only their lives, and those who had lost there‘s. One hero stands taller than the rest, the Boy-Who-Lived, defeated Voldemort and sent his followers, the Death Eaters, into hiding, or what was left of them.
But what will happen next? Many have been killed, family’s had been ripped apart, and the Ministry of Magic is in utter corruption. With the elected Kingsley Shacklebolt as minister, surely the weeds will be plucked and a new Ministry will rise through the ashes. A newly devised organization, created in the wake of the post-war efforts, United Witched and Wizards (UWW), was created to restore order and peace throughout the wizarding world. Posters will be plastered around the wizarding towns and speeches will be made to it’s cause, compelling you, hopefully, to join in and help rebuild the wizarding world.
Hogwarts must be rebuilt, a new headmaster found, and order also restored once again to the ancient school. Join in the madness and confusion--help restore the wizarding world and find new friends that will help achieve greatness. Join it all at Luminosus Miraculum!

 The greatest...Gossip Columnist?? //Katie Bell
« Thread Started on Oct 27, 2007, 9:07am »

Delilah Sinclaire was something. Long blonde hair, soft, big brown eyes, made any guy want her. But there was something about this Vash fellow that excited her. Maybe because he was so much like her, but finally, a guy in her own league. Delilah looked down at her water, as she swirled it around with her straw that the bartender gave her. Normally, she would be caught dead in a bar like this, but it was the closet thing to the Daily Prophet that a person could go for drinks and still talk about the wizarding world safely.

She was about to meet the Editor in Chief, Katie Bell. She had been just a couple of years older than her in school, but now Delilah admired her. Delilah aspired to be an Journalist one day, a very big one. This contest that she had entered was going to make that possible somehow, one day. She took a deep breath, nervousness ran through her body, which wasn't a typical behavior for her.

Taking a sip of water, she tried to settle her nerves by looking around the pub for a story. She saw a couple of witches giggle in the corner, something about Harry, doubt apart of his fan club. She rolled her eyes and looked at the table across from her. Nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, the door opened, causeing Delilah to automatically look up to see who it was. A smile drifted across her face. It was Katie.

Delilah waved at her to come over, knowing Katie would not have any clue what she looked like. She stood up, offering her hand as a greeting. "Hi Katie. My name is Delilah. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said with a grin.

Katie sidestepped a person who was walking down the bustling street of Diagon Alley. People should watch where they were going, she thought. After all it was a somewhat rainy day, and while the sun was just starting to come out Katie did not want to get pushed in a puddle.

She looked up. To her surprise she had already made it to the Leaky Cauldron. She had never remembered taking this short of time to get here before. But then again before Katie would have been with her friends of sort or not in much of a hurry. But today, today was an important day. Not important as in it was significant, but important was the meeting.

Katie was going to meet one of people who had entered the contest for the Daily Phophet. She had become the editor-in-cheif and it pleased her greatly. She really loved her job, and she wasn't about to become the Rita Skeeter type anyways...the whole platinum blonde curls never suited her anyways.

Katie opened the door and walked in. She was idmediately greeted by a smiling girl who was waving at her; it must've been Delilah Sinclaire, the girl whom she was meeting. As Katie walked over she took in the girl's appearence; Delilah had very long blonde hair and brown eyes, and her height was something to be envious of. Delilah must have been one of those girls all the guys wanted.

"Hi Delilah, it's nice to meet you," said Katie, shaking her hand and smiling in response. She took a seat next to Delilah. "So I hear you like gossip?"

Delilah's long, straight, blond hair flowed down her back, as she sat in the seat at the table where now Katie Bell sat with her. She blinked a few times before she answered Katie's question. Delilah turned on her sweet smile, and stopped playing with her straw in her glass of ice water. She almost placed her hand on the table, before she realized that she might contract a disease if she put bare skin on the surface.

"Umm.." she paused only moment's after starting her answer, fully unaware that her reputation might have even expanded to the daily prophet. "Yes. I love to write about gossip." she continued sweetly. Which was true, especially if it would bring her popularity in her life. "But what I really aspire to be is a journalist that writes about what really matters." Rita Skeeter had been her idol since she was able to read the Daily Prophet, but not just because she wrote gossip, but because she was a woman, doing something with her life.

Delilah took another sip of her water through the straw, while looking at Katie. "What are you most passionate about with your writing? Fine Art? Political pieces?" she edged a few inches closer, showing Katie that she was highly interested.
